The project began with three editorial journeys: Sapphire seas, Emerald landscapes and Ruby culture. They remain the visual and emotional centre of Gems of Malaysia.

Malaysian Originals celebrates businesses, founders, makers and institutions with a meaningful connection to this country. Take a Gem Home documents products whose provenance deserves to be understood.
How the project sustains itself
The site may earn from approved affiliate links, digital guides, referrals and clearly labelled partnerships. Commercial relationships never purchase the A Gem of Malaysia editorial distinction.
