What an affiliate link means
Some links may earn Gems of Malaysia a commission when a reader completes an eligible purchase or booking, normally without increasing the reader’s price.
How links are labelled
Commissionable recommendations will be identified beside the relevant link or recommendation. Affiliate links will also use the appropriate sponsored-link qualification.
How recommendations are chosen
Merchant availability and commission are considered only after editorial relevance, provenance, traveller fit and usefulness. Non-commissionable alternatives may be included when they serve the reader better.
Current position
Our current destination and souvenir guides do not contain commissionable links. This disclosure will remain current as new recommendations are added.
